ALENE SMITH DANIELS, 78, was born on November 07, 1945, the daughter of the late Dozier and Eva Dell Smith in Thomasboro, NC. She was educated at the Number 5 School in Brunswick County School System. She met and married Mr. William Butler and to this union three children were born. She later relocated to Columbus County in the community of Nakina, NC and then to the city of Whiteville, NC. She established herself as homemaker, cook, and trusted childcare provider in the community. She also met and married the late Jack Daniels, Jr. and to this union they were blessed with two sons.
In 1999, she relocated to Sylvania, GA under the advice and guidance of a special friend the late Mr. Arthur Graham. She also established herself as a beloved cook, childcare giver, and respected member of the community until her health would not permit.
On Friday morning May 05, 2023, the Lord came to her bedside at her residence and saw fit for her to leave this old world and begin her new journey to that New Jerusalem following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Daniels, Jr., and two sons Reverend Montie Daniels and Willie Butler.
Her fond and cherished memories will forever live on through her daughter: Evangelist Eva Gore, (3) sons: Gerald Butler, Russell Butler, and Von Daniels (Trish); a brother: Charles Vaught (Nedia); Sisters: Lorine Gause and Bessie Daniels, a special friend Mrs. Penny Spaulding, along with a host of Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, Great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
