Mr. Alex Jacquez Mingle

October 28, 1992 – July 19, 2024

MR. ALEX JACQUEZ MINGLE, 31, was born October 28, 1992, to Roy Mingle and Yvette Johnson Mingle in Augusta (Richmond County), Georgia.

At an early age, he received his Christian upbringings at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church of Sylvania, GA. He attended the Public School System of Screven County where he graduated in the Class of 2012 of Screven County High School.  He played football as a member of the Screven County High School fighting Gamecocks.  He was employed at McDonalds, Great Dane, and most recently AMI Kids of Sylvania, GA.

On Friday evening July 19, 2024, Alex Jacquez Mingle peacefully transitioned from this life to embrace eternal rest in the presence of the Lord at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Statesboro, Georgia, following an extended illness.

Alex will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family with a beautiful heart and his kind spirit.  His sons were the joy of everything in his life.  He was a big sports fan and looked forward to attending the football games at the University of Colorado this upcoming season.  His life and memories will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Willie James Johnson and Jessie Simon Johnson, his paternal grandmother Ola Mae Mingle, and his brother Ashton Jashod Mingle.

Fond memories will forever be cherished by (2) loving children: Adam and Asahd Mingle; a dedicated fiancé: Brittany Roberts; his devoted Mother: Yvette Johnson; His Father: Roy Allen (Vickie) Mingle; Siblings: Allen, Aikeem, Adina, and Avan Mingle; Aunts and Uncles:  James Johnson, Eric Johnson, Sr., Arthur Lee Johnson, Chris Johnson, Latoyer Brooks (Terrence), Addie Mae Mingle, Louise Mingle, Ronnie Mingle, Vernon Mingle, Sylvia Graham (Johnny), Janice Mingle, Deidre Knox, Emma Lee Williams, Johnny Mingle (Margolt), Gussie Hunter, Florence Moore, Julia Brown (Stanley), John Moore (Cheryl), Russell Moore, Alfred Moore, Thaddeus Moore (Fayette), Gwen Evans, and Eva Fulcher (Walter); Two nieces, Twyla Spells and  Anistyn Mingle; Three nephews, Allen(AJ) Mingle Cayden Spells, and Amir Mingle; and a host of cousins other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
