Ms. Diane Evelyn Kirkland

Ms. Diane Evelyn Kirkland, 68, was born the daughter of the late Mr. Bennie and Mrs. Betty Lee Kirkland on September 15. 1956, in Sylvania (Screven County), GA.  She attended the public schools of Screven County and was a graduate of Screven County High School Class of 1975.

Ms. Diane Evelyn Kirkland completed her earthly sojourn on Friday February 21, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center of Statesboro, GA, following an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, (2) Sisters: Gloria Kirkland and Alfreda Bangs, and (2) Brothers: Greg and Charles Kirkland.

Fond and loving memories and a beautiful legacy will forever be cherished by her son: Roddrick Roberts, (1) Grandson: Rodriguez Murphy of Statesboro, GA; (4) Brothers: George (Olivia) and Jessie (Gloria) Kirkland, SirDon (Cassandra) and Bobby (Avon) Bangs; (2) Sisters: Mary (Alfred) Wilson and Vanessa Pearsall; a special Niece: Tracy (Michael) Taylor; (2) Uncles: James Lee and Matt Hardy; (2) Aunts: Hattie Mae Grant and Laura (Ike) Davis; a special friend: Willie Seal, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
