Mrs. Eddie Mae Gordon Watts was born July 26, 1962 in Augusta, GA to Mrs. Christine Robbins and Mr. Jerry Gordon. She was raised in Screven County and attended the Screven County Public Schools graduating in the Class of 1980. After high school she attended Paine College and later received an Associate Degree as a Microcomputer Specialist from Ogeechee Technical College, Statesboro, GA.
Eddie loved the Lord and was a faithful servant that was always willing to offer a helping hand. At an early age she joined Bethel AME Church and in 2015 she joined Redeeming Love Church of God The Bibleway where she served as Mother of the Church.
Eddie Mae's legacy of her season is left to her devoted husband, James Watts; her mother, Christine Robbins; her father, Jerry Gordon; her siblings, Mary Dell (Jerry) Lonon, Rosa (Fred) Ball, Barbara (Jerry) Hunter, Sandra (Willie) Long, Marion (Tony) Ball, Merva Robbins, Erricka (Shawn) Brooker, and Chris (Shekevia) Robbins; step siblings, Margaret (Gerald) Ganier, Henrietta Robinson, Cathy (Erien) Sampson, Florrie Robbins, Lavern Robbins, Brenda Robbins, Lucille (Warnell) Brewton, Rose (Willie) Robbins, Rev Uley (Ruthie) Robbins, Willie Robbins, Harry (Rev. Mary) Robbins, Eugene (Brenda) Robbins and Sidney (Faye) Robbins; one sister-in-law, Ethel Yorker, a godson, Rev. Pal (Lisa) Sampson, Jr; a caring friend, Ursula Crawford; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
