Mr. Elijahjoun Ty’rell Brodnex

March 01, 2002 – January 15, 2025

Elijahjoun Ty’rell Brodnex, 22, was born on March 1, 2002, in Statesboro, GA, to Tiffany Mingle and Elijah Brodnex. Upon marrying Tiffany, Christopher Mingle played an important part in Elijahjoun’s life as a father.   As a young child he joined Lovett Hill St. James Baptist Church.  Elijahjoun also attended the Screven County school system and graduated from Screven County High school.  He furthered his education at Central Georgia Technical College of Warner Robbins, GA, to play football with the Titans.

During his life, Elijahjoun worked at Amazon and did other work opportunities. He participated in many school activities such as football, basketball and baseball. Eli had a passion for fishing, which they lived for the catch, always on the hunt for the big one.

Elijahjoun was a true friend and beacon of light, leaving a legacy of warmth and kindness. Those who know him will remember him for his infectious smile and personality.  Our beloved Elijahjoun departed us on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Although Eli’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. Let us remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Tiffany (Andre) Mingle of Sylvania, GA; his father, Elijah Brodnex of Sylvania, GA; his significant other, Nesa Blair; his daughter, Kay’Brielle Brodnex all of Statesboro, GA; his brothers, Teviyon Mingle, Jamar Cooper, Antron Cooper, and Cleveland Mingle, Jalijah Brodnex all of Sylvania, GA; his aunt, Tonya Robinson of Sylvania, GA; his uncles, Jerry (Vonetta) Robinson of Waynesboro, GA; Shawn Robinson, Rincon, GA; special nephew TJ Mingle; grandparents, Buddy Oliver, Mattie (Isaac) Jackson, Annie Brodnex all of Sylvania, GA; special cousin, Portia Robinson of Augusta, GA; Godmother, Tia Weaver of Statesboro, GA; and a host of special friends, aunts, uncles, other relatives, cousins and sorrowing friends.
