Ernest Daughtry entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2023 at Pine View Nursing Home in Sylvania, GA at the age of 68.

Ernest Daughtry was born on April 24, 1955 in Sylvania, Georgia to late Clinton Daughtry and late Annie Lee (Williams) Daughtry.

Ernest was educated in Screven County School System. He worked at Sylvania Yarn System (SYS) for many years until his mother took sickness. He then became the primary care giver to his mother until she gained her wings in their home.

His memories will be cherished by 5 brothers Clinton Daughtry, Jr. (Lavern) of Fort Pierce, FL, Curtis Daughtry (Melann) of Sylvania, GA, Ezekiel Daughtry (Renia)of Fort Pierce, FL, Richard Daughtry of Sylvania, GA, Jeff Daughtry (Trell) of Sylvania, GA;  5 sisters Eula Lee Godbee of Augusta, GA, Willie Lee Mingle of Augusta, GA, Ruthie Lee Robbins (Rev. Uley) of Sylvania, GA, Ethel Parker (Harry) of Rocky Ford, GA, Denise Simmons (Terry) of Sylvania, GA, a host of loving nieces and nephews and other devoted relatives and friends.
