THE LIFE AND MEMORY OF HARRY WILLIAM ROBERTS
AKA "MR. BIGGZ"
SEPTEMBER 14, 1954 - AUGUST 24, 2024
Harry William Roberts was born on September 14, 1954, to the late Lloyd and Cora Lee Brown Roberts in Jenkins County, Georgia. He was the 5th child of 12 Children. He was baptized at the Hurricane Branch Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Thomas.
ded Central High School and graduated in the Class of 1973 of Screven County High School of Sylvania, GA. Harry's profession was farming. He worked at the S.Y.S. spinning plant during his high school years. Upon graduating, he enlisted into the U.S. Army, completing his basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC. He traveled overseas during his military career completing his service to his country at Ft. Dix in New Jersey. Upon being honorably discharged, he continued employment as a correctional officer at Coastal Prison in Savannah, GA, and a truck driver. He would go on to complete his employment at the Georgia Ports of Authority in Savannah, GA, until his retirement in 2016.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his only son Leon Keoni Brown, (2) sisters: Cora D. Carrie and Queenie Mae Roberts, and (4) brothers: Lloyd Henry Roberts, Sr., Jerry Roberts, Sr., Danny Roberts, and Charles Roberts.
His loving memory will be forever cherished by (6) Daughters: Cynthia Hicks, Matuaka C. Brown, Yolanda Feldner (Gregory). Aiesha Bennett, Raven Roberts, and Brandy Roberts; his Siblings: Ernest Steve Roberts, James (Sherry) Roberts, Martha (William) Kemp, Jessie Young, all of Sylvania, GA, and Christine Stephens of Tampa, FL; a forever Brother-in-law: Mr. Lonnie Carrie of Sylvania, GA; 18 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, a forever Friend: Mrs. Sarah Roberts (Ex Wife), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
