MR. JAMES DAVID GIBBONS, 54, of Sylvania , GA

Mr. James David Gibbons, 54, was born on December 11, 1966, in Screven County, GA, to Mrs. Rosa Bell Oliver Gibbons and the late Mr. J. D. Gibbons.  He received his formal education in the public schools of Screven County.  As a young man, he began his employment as a heavy equipment operator with the Screven Peanut Company.

James was preceded in death by his father J. D. Gibbons

On Friday October 29, 2021, James was called home to eternal rest at the Optim Medical Center of Sylvania, GA.  His devoted legacy as a father of four as a kind loving man will forever live in the hearts and minds of those who loved him dearly.

He leaves to cherish his memories: (5) Children: Fatima Gibbons, Jamesian Gibbons, Sharvioni Gibbons, Zoe Jackson and a special daughter that he loved as his own Shaneika Walker; (3) Sisters: Elizabeth (Bobby) Frazier, Celitha (Mark) Jackson, and Angela Brown, (2) Brothers:  J. D. Gibbons III and Michael Gibbons; (3) Aunts: Sadie Badger, Katherine (Michael) Gibbons, and Bonnie Mae Oliver; (3) Uncles:  Buddy Oliver, Carlton Oliver, and Henry Oliver, Jr., (7) Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
