Mr. Jerome Grant

Mr. Jerome Grant, 63, was born the son of the late Mr. Willie C. and Mrs. Mildred Grant Ivery on October 12, 1959, in Belle Glade, FL.
He received his early Christian upbringings at the Lovett Hill/St. James Baptist Church of Sylvania, GA. He attended the public schools of Screven County. He was employed as a brick mason with Tom Beuche LLC, Joe T. Masonry, and Pyramid Masonry for over 30 years.
On Sunday evening April 23, 2023, Mr. Jerome Grant completed his life’s sojourn at East Georgia Regional Medical Center of Statesboro, GA, following a brief illness. His life and memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie C. and Mildred Grant Ivery, sisters: Karla and Ray Ivery, Aunts: Queenie Brown, Ella Brown, Elizabeth Jennings, and Dorothy Oliver, a nephew: Bubba Ivery, and Cousin Joe Ann Grant Prescott
He leaves to cherish his memory (5) Children: Antwon (Lisett) Davis of Pennsylvania,, Jacobey Walker and Cornelius Walker, both of Belle Glade, FL, Marquise Prescott and Tarkia Prescott all of Hiltonia, GA; (4) Siblings: Sandra Ivery, Leonard Ivery, Marvin (Yvette) Ivery, and China Ivery all of Hiltonia, GA; 10 Grandchildren, an Aunt: Barbara Grant, special cousins: Evelena Jennings and Stanley Grant both of Hiltonia, GA, a special friends: Angela Prescott and Kary Prescott of Hiltonia, GA, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
