Mr. Johnnie Lee Kelsey
November 30, 1948 – May 02, 2023
Mr. Johnnie Lee Kelsey, 74, was born to the late Mr. Ozzie (Buddy) and Mrs. Lessie Adams Kelsey on November 30, 1948, in Screven County, GA.
His early spiritual upbringings began at the New Light Baptist Church in Sylvania, GA. He was educated in the public schools of Screven County, GA. Mr. Kelsey was also a dedicated employee for General Motors for over 20 years.
Mr. Kelsey enjoyed Barbequing and cooking and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.
On Tuesday Morning May 02, 2023, Mr. Johnnie Lee Kelsey completed his life’s journey at his residence in Sylvania, GA, following an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his sister Annie Moore.
His life and memory will forever live in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him.
Fond memories will forever be cherished by his devoted Brother: Mr. Ernest Kelsey of the home; (2) additional Brothers: Deacon James (Mary) Kelsey, Lakeland, FL, and Beurie Kelsey of Miami, FL, and (1) Sister: Mary Kelsey of Miami, FL, his nieces Tonda Richardson and Candice Dantzler both of Rochester, NY., and Larue Kelsey - Moment, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
