In Loving Memory of 

MR. JOHNNIE ROUNDTREE, SR.

Mr. Johnnie Roundtree, Sr., 80, was born to the late Mr. Lonnie and Sadie Bell Davis Roundtree on September 26, 1941, in Sylvania,, GA.  He departed this life on August 27, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was a member of the Greater Bethel AME Church of Sylvania where he served on the Pastor's Aide board and the Sons of Allen.  He was educated in the public schools of Screven County.  He was employed on the milk route in Sylvania, with Lanscy Furniture, and finally White Stag (Warnaco), retiring in 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Adele Farmer Roundtree, (2) Sons: Randy Farmer and Johnnie Roundtree, Jr., a sister: JoAnn Jackson, and (3) brothers: Sydney, Emmitte, and Lonnie Roundtree.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: (3) Daughters: Darrie Barnes, Jelma (Roger) Simon, and Denise Roundtree; (3) Sons: Emmett, Lindsey, and Lavell Roundtree all of Sylvania, GA; (19) Grandchildren, (22) Great grandchildren, (6) Great-great grandchildren, (4) people that he held dear to his heart: his niece Beth Jackson, Katherine Gibbons, Cassandra Bangs, and Charles Gibbons (Junebug), along with a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
