Mr. Julious “Pap” Jenkins was born September 23, 1940 to Mr. Spurge Jenkins and Mrs. Lou Florence Jenkins in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. Julious transitioned April 11, 2022 at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation, Statesboro, Georgia.
Julious attended the Screven County School System. At an early age he joined Black Creek Baptist Church. He was a self-employed mechanic and was known as “The Transmission Man.”
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Julious Jenkins, Jr.; his brothers, Lefonza Jenkins, Horace Jenkins, Carl Jenkins and Spurge Jenkins; his sister, Anna Lou Jenkins.
He laves to cherish fond memories: His children, Anthony (Kathy) Jenkins of Statesboro, GA, Willie (Mickey) Wadley and Gregory (Jackie) Jenkins both of Sylvania, GA, Virgil (Talondria) Jenkins of Statesboro, GA, Reginald (Najai) Jenkins of Atlanta, GA, Connie Jenkins of Statesboro, GA and Maurice (Courtney) Jenkins of Sylvania, GA; a bonus son, Derrick Barrett of Sylvania, GA; the mother of his children, Mildred Jenkins of Sylvania, GA; his brother, Roy Jenkins of Statesboro, GA; his sisters, Annie Laura Aiken and Earlene Garvin both of Savannah, GA; his sister-in-law, Sarah Jenkins of Savannah, GA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
