Katie Mae Howard

 Ms. Katie M. Howard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister entered into sunset on February 26, 2025. Katie left an indelible mark in the hearts of those that were fortunate to know her. Katie was born September 2, 1947, to the union of John W. Howard and Roxie (Rhett) Howard (preceded in death) in Sylvania, GA. Katie attended the Screven County School System attending South Side High/Middle in Newington, GA. Katie would go on to attend Job Corps in Omaha, Nebraska. Katie would return to her hometown and enter into motherhood having Daughter Betty J. Pinkney (preceded in death) and Son Billy & Brenda Howard of Statesboro, Ga. Katie leaves many love ones to mourn her; Sister Annie L. Sheppard of Sylvania, GA, Sister Evelyn Burton of Sylvania, Brother Willie & Ruthie Howard of Sylvania, GA, Sister Willie Mae Howard of Sylvania, GA, Brother Harold Howard of Brunswick, GA, Sister Roselle Brown of Statesboro, GA. Katie was preceded in death by Sisters Daisy and Barbara Howard and three Brothers.
