Mr. Lee Ernest Walker, Jr.

“Nanny Baby”

(December 25, 1962 – March 28, 2023)

          Mr. Lee Ernest Walker, Jr., 60, was born on Christmas Day December 25, 1962, the son of the late Mr.  Lee Ernest (Jack) Walker and Ms. Gussie Lee Lockhart in Oliver, GA.

          His early spiritual upbringings began at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Oliver, GA.  He was also educated in the public schools of Screven County.  He was employed with the Golden Leaf Farms for many years.

           “Nanny Baby”, as he was affectionately known, was an avid fisherman, he loved music, and spending time with his family.

          On Tuesday March 28, 2023, Mr. Lee Ernest Walker, Jr. completed his earthly sojourn and traded this life for eternity at St. Joseph/Candler Medical Center of Savannah, GA, following an extended illness.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Courtney Walker, and one son Aaron Walker.

          Loving memories will forever be cherished by his loving companion: Ms. Wanda Williams of the home, (3) Daughters: Alicia (Reggie) Jones, Jessica (Michael) Middleton, and Gussie Walker all of Sylvania, GA; (3) Sons: Brandon Walker, Lee E. Walker, IV, and James Howard all of Sylvania, GA (4) Brothers: Leroy (Pam) Lockhart, Newington, GA, David Walker, Newington, GA, Alfonzo Walker, Sylvania, GA, Henry Lee (Veronica) Walker, Statesboro, GA, (5) Sisters: Vickie (Tommy) Simmons, Statesboro, GA, Diane (Terry) Jenkins, Savannah, GA, Charlotte Lockhart of Charlotte, NC, Michelle Walker of Clito, GA, and Rachel Walker of Rincon, GA; Step Mother: Mrs. Von Walker of Newington, GA; (28) Grandchildren, his favorite Aunt: Sallie Turner of Statesboro,  GA, another Aunt: Joreather Forbes of West Palm Beach, FL , along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
