Mr. Levone Albright

(1951 – 2022)

Mr. Levone Albright was born August 21, 1951 to Lonnie and Hattie Gaines Albright in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia.  He departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Levone was educated in the Screven County school system and was a graduate of Screven County High School Class of 1971.  He worked tirelessly for Union Camp/International Paper for over 30 years before retiring and later becoming foster parent with the Chatham County Department of family and Children Services for almost 20 years.

He was loved by his family, friends and all those who knew him.  He had a love of music, vacationing, especially cruising, drag racing, and spending time with family and friends.

Levone was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lonnie and Hattie Albright; his brother, Herman Albright and stepson, Jemel Dooley.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife od 28 years, Gale Dooley Albright of Pooler, GA; his children, Brian Albright of Jacksonville, FL; Idashia Albright of Columbus, GA; Tyiesha Oliver of Macon, GA and his baby girl, Makayla Albright of Pooler, GA; two grandchildren, BriAuna (James) Follins of Pooler, GA and Brian Albright, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; one great-grandchild, Jiselle Follins of Pooler, GA; his siblings, Edna Lemon, Juanita (James) Walker, JoAnn Graham and Frank (Irene) Albright all of Savannah, GA; his god-daughter, Alexis Thompson of Savannah, GA; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
