In Loving Memory of
Mr. Leon Donell Tolbert, Jr.
June 28, 1995 - September 27, 2025
Leon Donell Tolbert Jr., 30, was born on June 28, 1995, in Statesboro, Georgia, to Pamela
Roberts Clark and Leon Donell Tolbert Sr. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, the late
Troy Clark, who played a significant role in his upbringing.
At a young age, Leon joined New Robins Branch Baptist Church, where he was a devoted
member of the youth choir. He received his education in the Screven County School System.
Throughout his adult life, Leon was employed in various positions, but he ultimately discovered
his passion working as an Extrusion Machine Operator. He also had a deep love for music and
was very tech savvy. Above all, his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a father
to his children.
Leon touched the lives of many before he was called home to be with the Lord on September 27,
2025. He will be remembered as a loyal friend whose warm smile could light up any room.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Pamela Clark (Donnell Robertson) of Sylvania,
GA; his father, Leon (Tamika) Tolbert Sr. of Statesboro, GA; his children, Malaysia and Rylan
Tolbert of Sylvania, GA; two bonus daughters, Brooklyn Thomas and Raleigh Brandon of
Union, SC; four sisters, Kalicha McCoy, Trashawna Clark, and Ahlashia Kirkland, all of
Sylvania, GA, and Summer Jones of Statesboro, GA; four brothers, Travon Clark and Tiondre
Boyd of Sylvania, GA, and Kato Tolbert and Demarion Smart of Statesboro, GA; his
grandmothers, Dorine Dempsey of Chester, PA, and Rosezina Barnes of Sylvania, GA; his
grandfather, James (Sherry) Roberts of Sylvania, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends.
