The Legacy of Life
Mr. Licious Parrish was born September 26, 1934 to the late Willie Parrish and Lizzie Albright Parrish. He departed this life Monday, July 4, 2022 in Sylvania, GA under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
At an early age he joined Waters Grove Baptist Church. He was employed at Mobley Lumber Company for many years. In 1954 he married Marie Kent and was blessed with five children.
In addition to her parents, he was also predeceased by daughters, Melva J. Burton and Carolyn P. Sapp and grandson, Charles Burton; his siblings, Artis Parrish, Willie Parrish, Jr. and James Parrish.
He leaves fond memories to be cherished by his children, Edward Lee Parrish, Linda Morgan and Muriel P. Robinson; his grandchildren, Tyrone Fields and wife, Lamont Parrish (Byranda), Eddie Parrish, Jr., Serena Parrish, Carsha Sapp Lovett (Brandon), Terel Parrish (Mica) and Brianna Robinson; his siblings, Prince Albert Parrish of Savannah, GA, Sylvester Parrish (Mae) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Louis Parrish of Augusta, GA, Romie Parrish of New York, Corine Robbins of Augusta, GA, Betty Robbins of Sylvania, GA and Carrie Ann Johnson of Savannah, GA; his bonus daughters, Connie Natson and Demetris Ingram; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren; she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
