Remembering M C Wadley

Mr. M C Wadley was born January 6, 1945, to UA Wadley and Mary Moore Wadley in Screven County, GA.  He fell asleep on April 27, 2023, at Sylview Healthcare Center, Sylvania, GA.

M C attended the Screven County Public Schools during his early years.  He spent his teenage and young adult years working in the fields and driving farm equipment.  He married and moved to Philadelphia, PA with his wife Gladys Bedford Wadley they were blessed with two daughters, Aretha and Kimberly.  There he began his lifelong career as a maintenance technician working with plumbing contractors at apartment complexes.  He later retired and moved back to his childhood home, Sylvania, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a beloved daughter, Aretha.

He leaves to mourn, his daughter, Kimberly Wadley Fairbanks; his grandchildren, Malik Wadley, Cornelius Jones and Kiwanis Wadley; his great grandchildren, Kayanna Wadley Anthony Warren, Jr, Kristian Warren, Zara Bettis, Amir Jones, Amir Jones, Azzah Durbin and Cornelius, Jr.

His siblings that predeceased him in death, Clarence Wadley, John Wesley Wadley, and Jessie L. Wadley Drayton.

His siblings left here to mourn his passing, Joseph Wadley (Evonne), Rosa Bedford (John), and Carolyn Collins all of Sylvania, GA, Delsey Wadley Newman (Leslie) of Temple Hills, Maryland, Loretta Cosby and Jake Wadley (Telma) both of Sylvania, GA; he also leaves a host od nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

M C was very much loved by his family all his life and especially during his illness.  His brother Joseph (Sonny) cared for and provided his daily needs, and his sisters supported him in every way.
