Mrs. Margaret Ann Roberts Moore
(October 18, 1943 – March 11, 2023)
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle we dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” II Corinthians 5:1
Mrs. Margaret Ann Roberts Moore, 79, was born on October 18, 1943, the daughter of the late Mr. Johnny Lee and Mrs. Ever Lee Williams Roberts in Savannah, GA.
Her early Christian upbringings began at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Later in life she moved her membership to the Lawton Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W. D. Kent where she remained faithfully until her demise.
Margaret received her education in the public Schools of Screven County. She worked in several different occupations until retirement due to declining health.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Frank L. Moore in December of 1972. She enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family. Her favorite colors were burgundy and hunter green.
On Saturday morning March 11, 2023, Mrs. Margaret Ann Roberts Moore completed her earthly pilgrimage to begin her life in eternity at her residence following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brother, and three sisters.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her devoted husband of 50 years Mr. Frank L. Moore of the home, a caring and devoted son: Terry (Rose) Roberts of Sylvania, GA; (3) Sisters: Queen Roberts, Stella (Willie) Kittles, and Patricia Daniels all of Sylvania, GA; (3) Brothers: Arthur Roberts, Rochester, NY, John Roberts, Sylvania, GA, and Levon (Jane) Daniels of Statesboro; (3) Sisters-in-law: Juanita Moore and Mary Jones both of Savannah, GA, and Margaret Roberts of Riverdale, GA; (2) Step children: Jackie (Shena) Moore, Millen , GA, and Denise Burns, God-daughter: Ja’Nyah Robinson, (4) Grandchildren, (3) Great Grands along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
