Mr. Nathaniel “Pop” Anderson was born December 31, 1953 to the late Nathaniel Anderson, Sr and Veonia Oliver Anderson in Screven County Georgia. He departed this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Nathaniel was educated in the public schools of Screven County. At an early age he joined Lovett Hill Baptist Church. He was employed with Forehand Logging and Boyd Logging doing what he loved, cutting down trees.
“Pop” as he was known as, was a jokester, loved to fish in his spare time and also loved to listen to James Brown music. No one do the James Brown dance like him.
He leaves memories to be cherished by a devoted companion, Sadie Badger of Hiltonia, GA; his son, Monroe Anderson of Sylvania, GA; his stepson, Floyd Badger of Atlanta, GA; his stepdaughter, Lisa (Charlie) Badger Grace of Sylvania, GA; his sisters, Willie Mae (Mike) Dennis, Rosa Bell Anderson both of Sylvania, GA and Largie Dukes of Vidette, GA; his devoted brother, Rickey (Deborah) Anderson of Savannah, GA; his step grandchildren, Akeem (Shenecque) Badger of Sardis , GA, Deonta Badger of Fayetteville, NC and Trey (Mercedes) Badger of Hinesville, GA; eight greatgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
