Mrs. Queen Elizabeth Grant was born October 27, 1955 to the late J.C. Williams and the late Queen Ester Hunter Albright in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Queen joined Wesley Chapel AME Church at an early age and later joined New Light Baptist Church. She attended the public schools of Screven County and was a 1973 Graduate of Screven County High School. She was employed with White Stag Manufacturing Company for many years before relocating to Atlanta, GA.
In addition to her parents, Queen was also predeceased by a sister, Isabella Conyers and niece, Tracy Conyers.
Queen leaves to cherish her precious memories, a daughter, Stacy (Robert) Taylor and a son, Roger Pryor, Jr both of Statesboro, GA; a brother, Jimmy (Christina) Williams of Chesterfield, Virginia; grandchildren, Ramone H. Zeigler, Jr and Chad (Jody) Williams of Statesboro, GA, Chandre Pryor of Valdosta, GA, Heaven Pryor and Ariah Williams both of Statesboro, GA; nieces and nephews, Jessica (George) Byrd and Carmen Williams both of Chesterfield, Virginia, Vanessa Roberts of Sylvania, GA and Reginald (Lakisha) Roberts of Barnwell, SC; she also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
