Roscoe Hunter Sr. June 02, 1960—Oct. 26, 2024
On Tuesday October 29, 2024, an angel came and took Roscoe (Don) Hunter home to be with the Lord. He was born to Sis. Inez Hunter and to the late Bro. Roscoe Hunter on June 2, 1960, in Sylvania, Ga. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Goloid United Methodist Church later joined New Home Welcome Missionary Baptist Church. He attended and graduate from Screven County High School in 1978. After graduating he joined the Georgia Army National Guard, where he was trained as a Combat Medic. He worked at King Finishing Plant and retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his mother Inez C. Hunter, three son, JaTavion Foy, Nakeavis Hunter, and Nicholas Hunter. Three grandchildren Naveah Hunter, Amir Foy, and Imani Samira Foy. Siblings: Dennis Jones of Sylvania, GA, Richard (Carol) Hunter of Rincon, GA, Connie Hunter Baptiste of Locust Grove, GA, Inez Hunter Wheat of Rex, GA, Ralph Hunter of Sylvania, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
