(September 25, 1961 – September 01, 2023)

Ms. Sandra Bernell Ivery, 61, was born on September 25, 1961, to the late Mr. Willie C. and Mrs. Mildred Grant Ivery in Pennsylvania.

She received her early spiritual upbringings at the Lovett Hill/St. James Baptist Church in Sylvania (Hiltonia), GA.  She was educated in the public schools of Screven County, graduating in the Class of 1979.

She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

On Friday morning September 01, 2023, the Almighty God in His wise providence saw fit to summon his beloved daughter from this life to eternal rest at her residence following an extended illness under the care of Regency Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie C. and Mildred Grant Ivery, a son Thomas Ivery, brothers: Jerome Grant and Ray Ivery, and a sister:  Carla Ivery.

She leaves to cherish fond memories and continue her beautiful legacy: (1) Son: Tywain Ivery, (3) Daughters: Carrietta “Candy” (Demetrius) Burgest, Kenyetta Ivery, and Andria Ivery; (2) Brothers: Leonard and Marvin (Yvette) Ivery; (1) Sister: China Ivery; (9) Grandchildren: Steven Frazier, Carlos Williams, TyShawn Williams, BenJiyah Walker, Alayshia Williams, Kamden Burgest, Kamarian Ivery, Demetria Burgest, and Caryn Burgest; (4) Great grandchildren; God-daughters: Keiwanna Davis and Priscilla Cooper; (2) Aunts: Barbara Grant and Ida Belle Grant; a special cousin: Everlina Grant, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
