Ms. Susie Ann Oliver

May 30, 1958 – January 20, 2025

Mrs. Susie Ann Oliver, 66, was born the daughter of the late Mr. James L. and Mrs. Lillie Mae Osborn Oliver, on May 30, 1958, in Screven County, GA.

She was born in a Christian home and received her early spiritual upbringings at the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Sylvania (Millhaven), GA, under the leadership of Reverend S. D. Bing.  She received her formal education in the public schools of Screven County graduating in the Class of 1977.  After graduation, she relocated to Atlanta, GA, for a few years and finally returned to Screven County.  She also furthered her education at Ogeechee Technical College of Statesboro, GA.

She was employed at Jockey in Millen, GA, as well as Sylvania Yarn Systems of Sylvania, GA.

On Monday January 20, 2025, Ms. Susie Ann Oliver made her final transition to rest in eternity with her Lord at the East Georgia Regional Medical Centers of Statesboro, GA, following an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents James and Lillie Mae Osborn Oliver, one daughter: Teresa Oliver, and one granddaughter Lillie Ann Jacobs, and siblings: President Oliver, Evenezer Oliver, Ella Mae Oliver, Leroy Oliver, Azarine Brayboy, and Frank Oliver.

Her precious memories will forever live in the hearts of her (2) devoted daughters: Camillia (Tony) Oliver Perry, Sylvania, GA, and Amanda Herrington, Hiltonia, GA; (1) Granddaughter: Destiny Lillian Jacobs, (1) Grandson: Izell Will Deonte Jacobs; Siblings: Dan (Yvonne) Oliver, Pearlie Mae Jackson, Johnny (Gloria) Oliver, all of Hiltonia, GA, Melvin Oliver, Augusta, GA, and Alvin (Bennie) Oliver of Sylvania, GA,  along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
