Samuel T. Bryant
May 15, 1935 - February 15, 2025
Mr. Samuel T. Bryant, 89, the son of the late Mr. Aaron, Sr., and Mrs. Rosa Lee Barnes Bryant was born May 15, 1935, in Sylvania, Screven County, GA.
At an early age he joined Kemp Grove Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his health failed. His love of gospel quartets led him to join the Gospel Music Group “The Florida Smiles” of Fort Lauderdale in the 60’s. He also had a love of hunting with his ‘Coon Hounds.’
On June 26, 1971, he was joined in holy matrimony to the former Ms. Delia Bargeron. To this union one daughter was born, Rose K. Bryant. He spent many years working in the Concrete Industry as a Finisher in cities such as Springfield, OH, Ft. Lauderdale FL, Richmond VA and Atlanta, GA. And many others in the CSRA. He departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his residence Sylvania, GA, following an extended illness.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron (Sr) and Rose Lee Bryant; his wife Delia Bryant; brother, Aaron Bryant Jr. and sisters Margaret Fields and Louvenia Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters: Rose K. Bryant of Sylvania, GA, Machelle Winn-Williams and Lydia Winn both of Florence, SC; a son: Chris Jenkins of Daytona Beach, FL; siblings: Pearlie Mae Bryant, Ruthie Mae (Frank) Kyles, Henry Lee (Alberda) Bryant all of Savannah, GA, and Dorothy (Charles) Bryant of Ellabell, GA; aunt, Louise Bryant of Richmond, VA; sister-in-law, Mae Bell Bargeron of Sylvania, GA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
