Mr. Tom Jones Jr. was born March 16, 1950, to the late Mr. Tom Jones, Sr and Eva Mae Jones in Metter, Candler County, Georgia.

Tom worked on a farm in his early days and retired as a carpenter after his health declined. He was a kind, friendly man of faith and often spoke of the will of God. He loved to be surrounded by people and often told lighthearted jokes to make them laugh. He would greet anyone he met by first asking them who they were and would then carry on a friendly conversation with them.

Mr. Tom Jones, Jr., was summoned from this life to enter eternal rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Heritage Hospice, Marietta, GA, following an extended illness.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Tom Jones Sr. and Eva Mae Jones, and sister Mara Etta Scott. He was loved and will be missed by his devoted son Thomas Jones, Sr. and loving niece, Kathrine Lawton of Sylvania, Ga.

He leaves to cherish his memory six children: Thomas Jones Sr. (Lori) of Lilburn Ga; Joyce Jones (James) of Sylvania, Ga; Patricia Williams (Thomas) of Augusta Ga; Tom Jones III of Augusta Ga; Princess Davis (Damon) of Sylvania GA; David Jones of Sylvania, Ga; Stepson Michael Jones of Augusta Ga; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren; step brothers Paul Jones, Milton Jones, Ben Jones; stepsisters, Clara Hines, Reatha Dickerson; special nephew Tommy Jones; special friends Annie Dean, Sandra, Mario all of Savannah, Ga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
