WALTER BANGS

Mr. Walter Bangs, 66, was born on August 19, 1955, to the late Mr. John Gant and Mrs. Bertha Bangs Gant in Sylvania, GA.  He departed this life on Sunday February 06, 2022, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA, following an extended illness.

Mr. Bangs was employed in the textile manufacturing industry served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by (3) brothers: Clifford Bangs, James E. Bryant, and John C.  Kent.

Mr. Walter Bangs leaves to cherish fond memories his devoted and loving wife: Mrs. Dorothy Bangs, (1) Son: Jasper Bangs, (1) Step son Ronald Cail, Jr., (2) Step daughters: Bridgette and Constance Cail; (1) Granddaughter: Shaniya Bangs; (7) Step Grandchildren, (2) Sisters: Dorris Adams and Carolyn (Clay) Roberts; (2) Brothers: John C. Bryant, Jr., and John (Juanita) Fuzz; (6) Brothers-in-law: Elvis (Pshonda) Scurry, Arthur (Yvette) Dorch, Jr., Christopher (Saudia) Dorch, Michael (Stephanie) Kirkland, and Timothy (Danny) Weaver, and George Thomas Wright; (5) Sisters-in-law: Twila (John) Daniels and Rose (Parrish) Dorch, Diane (Syreeta Stevens) Wright, Lizzette (Byron) Elam, and Barbara (Steve) Francis, ; a Great Aunt: Bertha Anderson; (3) Aunts: Mary (Alfred) Wilson, Diane Kirkland, and  Vonessa Pearsall; (5) Uncles: Sir Don (Cassandra) Bangs, Bobby (Aron) Bangs, George Kirkland, Jessie (Gloria Kirkland, and Charlie Kirkland along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.  A special thanks and appreciation to Regency Southern Care Hospice and Quality Inn Care.
